Mina Moments

So, for some context, this is the very last performance of Petite Etrangere. As people who have experience in theatre can attest, the last showing is usually pretty emotional because the cast is sad that their experience is over. Sailor Pluto’s actress, Mikako Ishii, was given the opportunity to speak about her feelings during the curtain call and gave this amazing speech.

First of all, she said “They let me play Sailor Pluto,” not “I’m playing Sailor Pluto.” It’s obvious that she sees her role as a great honor and is very grateful for it. I also love how, because Sailor Moon is now over 20 years old, there are actually people who loved Sailor Moon in their childhoods now being given the opportunity to be a part of it.

Mikako is literally crying throughout her entire speech (both with joy and sorrow), which shows just how much she and the rest of the cast love and care about Sailor Moon, and every person who came to watch them shared that love with them. It’s no wonder that they can feel the love all around them! And then OMG CHIBIUSA AND PLUTO. Even out of character, they still show so much love for each other.

I just love everything about this so much. Sailor Moon will always live on!

I can not fathom to you how annoyingly frustrated I am by Sam Peppers actions; when you dig yourself a hole and find you’re to blame, the mature thing to do is accept and own up to your actions.

Not only has this boy lied further into protecting his image and his self, he has made the situation worse by opening his mouth; he has now threatened some one who has had the courage to show the truth.

We have had numerous amounts of evidence where people have shun the light onto Sam Pepper’s true self and I find it very difficult to believe that he will find a way out of this situation.

why the hell are these tweets not covering my entire dash

fix. that.

So here’s proof that Sam Pepper is a gigantic shithead. I don’t care if you’re not a feminist, you don’t harass and threaten people’s lives and privacy.

I finished watching AKB0048, season 1 and 2.
I loved every moment of it! Obviously based on super well-known group AKB48, but with more Gundam-ish and more depressing stories.

How can you not like it?

  • The mics are weapons!
  • There’s this one chick who uses a magical wand tazer.
  • They get attacked by the “no fun allowed” group at pretty much every concert, apart from the ones in Akibastar.
  • The fans have modified their… cars.

  • There’s this family who has been in AKB48 for generations and they all look pretty much the same.

  • They have these super cute heart-shaped shading in their hair!
  • They also have Kiraras, which are cute blobs that give light from time to time.
  • The main charas are voiced by actual members from AKB48 and side groups, which is nice as hell.

Alright, everyone, listen up! This is important!

Welcome to the Carolina Manga Library Indiegogo Shelf Fund Campain!

The Carolina Manga Library is a nonprofit organization that travels to conventions and other events to provide a free graphic novel library. It’s run by my close friend Laura Mehaffey, and she’s been doing this for a few years now. If you’ve been to IchibanCon, NashiCon, or BanzaiCon, you’ve probably met her.

The library has a collection of over 2000 graphic novels, including Japanese manga, American comic books, and a bunch more. This takes up a TON of shelf space. Right now, they’re using plastic shelves that aren’t very space-efficient and take a lot of time to set up. They’re hoping to purchase wooden shelves for their library, but they need your help.

Why should you donate? Because you’re all weebs and you need this. Laura Mehaffey and the other librarians provide this library for FREE. In addition to helping out a good cause, you’d be giving yourself a space to rest from the convention scene. Yes, a place to sit down.

We have until November 23 to raise $1500 for this group. And for all you adults out there, because the library is an official nonprofit organization ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE!

Please, please, donate! Every dollar counts! If you can’t donate, spread the word! Please reblog and share on Facebook, Twitter, and whatever else it is you guys do.

Rape Escape

  • Easy and very effective
  • Requires nothing but your body
  • Includes attack

Very useful to know, pass and share please.

Worth watching

I don’t mean to impose a personal favour on you guys, but I really would like to ask that everyone who follows me reblog this.

I don’t think I made it very clear but last month I was sexually assaulted by someone who I thought was my friend (I don’t want to talk about it don’t ask), and it’s… really fucked with my head.

Had I known this a month ago I would have been able to get away

So, essentially, I’m really pleading with you to reblog this so everyone who follows you doesn’t get stuck in the same position I was with no way out.

I mean again I don’t want the point of this to be my sob story or whatever but if you could reblog this it would seriously mean a lot

and im asking to all of my followers who see this post in your dashboard to please press play to this video, you never know when this is gonna be useful, PLEASE DON’T IGNORE IT.

This is one of the first moves I was taught in Krav Maga, and it is one of the most effective.

It took me about a half hour to get down with practice, but once you get it, it’s an intuitive movement.

Please pass this along, it will save lives.
